The ever-changing, newly forming MERGE COLLECTIVE needs lots and lots of VOLUNTEERS for the benefit MEND MY BROKEN HEART Proceeds will benefit FOOD NOT BOMBS (google them for more info) and HOMELESS NATION (see their excellent website) The line-up is still open for workshop presenters/speakers/musicians/DJ's do not hesitate to e-mail me with questions or your offer to volunteer/perform/speak [email protected] The event will be quite the cross-cultural inter-tribal diverse gathering.........it's for all ages from 1pm to 10pm/after 10pm the bar is open We will have ethnic food/jazz & other live music/powerful speakers and FUN FUN FUN Costumes will be advised for the 10pm Dance The space will require far-out and funkifized decorations......so start imagining........ We are seeking 20-30 Volunteers....Once we have this number a volunteer meeting at the space will be called.... The Event is entitled MEND MY BROKEN HEART VICTORIA EVENTS CENTRE (downtown/Broad St./seats 250) MARCH 23RD SUNDAY Admission is by donation/no-one will be turned away for lack of funds ALL ARE WELCOME/INVITE WHOMEVER YOU KNOW FROM WHATEVER AGE GROUP OR WALK OF LIFE WE ARE COMING TOGETHER TO LEARN/MEET PEOPLE/ENJOY FOOD/AND CREATE COMMUNITY BASED SOLUTIONS TO HOMELESSNESS HUNGER AND DRUG-RELATED HEALTH ISSUES WE ARE COMING TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE THE BEGINNING OF MENDING ALL OF OUR BROKEN HEARTS......THOSE WHO LIVE ON THE STREET AND THOSE WHO ARE SAD TO SEE THIS....... namaste...(Karma Chodzin) Penny LALO Singh [email protected] - Wed, 16 Jan 2008 2:37pm | ||
