| tish User Info... | Hello this is Ayesha from the band Gertrude here. I am contacting you to ask if you are able to help with an urgent request for gig dates. Gertrude are a DIY all female post punk band from London UK, We incorporate cello, melodica and cello with punk rock, rhythm, humour and some socially conscious lyrics. We have supported submission Hold, NoMeansNo, Shellac and Fugazi…. We are on tour with Vancouver’s country punk rockabilly outfit, The Joey Only Outlaw Band who have kindly offered to go on tour in their native land with us. We have our, flights, dates but a worrying lack of gigs. We promise to put on an entertaining and enjoyable show.. but we need some help!! I know this is short notice but we are looking for dates from Thurs 19th-27th August We are playing in vancouver 18th, edmonton on 23rd and calgary on the 26th... | Mitch User Info... | I hate to say it to ya, but the time period would be much shorter. Calgary and Edmonton are a couple days drive to/from Victoria if you got an early start, and drove late.
