logan's User Info... | After two years of exemplary service, Sarah Rhude has moved on to brighter things and Chris Logan has resumed booking at Logan's. As a public service, here is the recommended MO for booking a show at Logan's: 1. MAKE CONTACT - send an email to [email protected] with any/all information regarding your band and what you want from us. Links to websites/MySpace are great. 2. FOLLOW UP - maybe 2 weeks later via email 3. LATHER, RINSE, REPEAT Less effective: calling, leaving unsolicited packages. Because of the sheer volume of bands looking for shows, just calling and leaving a contact number is normally not effective - we need to see/hear your stuff. For the same reason, leaving a CD and/or press package is not very effective - it's much better to send an email with a link, because it's easier to track that way. APPENDIX PERSEVERE! If you make it, and it doesn't suck, they will come. RELAX! Don't be offended if we don't get right back to you. See PERSEVERE. NETWORK! Repulsive jargon, but a good idea. If it's your first time, try to get on a bill with another band who's played here before. We normally make deals only with the headliners and let them bring whomever they want as openers. Hope this helps. Bring on the flames! - Wed, 3 May 2006 3:39pm

Tungsten Shoestepper User Info... | You are correct in saying "the Flames got beat by the Ducks". However, the original poster was well within sanity to post "bring on the flames" because they did not start game 7 until 2 hours and 20 minutes after his post. - Tue, 9 May 2006 4:42pm Edited: Tue, 9 May 2006 4:45pm
