| ThreeSchoonerProd User Info... | The 30 Cent Players are actively seeking bands to perform as musical guests at our tri-weekly sketch comedy shows. We've been going for 6 months strong now, and have had the pleasure of having musical guests such as Mike Demers, Katrina Kadoski, killingflaw, Saul, The Paper Cranes and others grace our stage. We're currently playing at New Horizons in James Bay, which seats upwards of 90 people. Here's the lowdown: -you play 2 songs; they will be interspersed throughout the comedy show. Some bands have performed as the audience enters...that's up to you. -you bring your gear. We are still a lower budget show...we can pay for a PA rental as long as it is reasonable (no more than $40; we take the receipt)...but you need to bring the rest. -there is remuneration based on a percentage of profit. The more people that show, the better! -you will be filmed and you will get 1 copy of your performance on DVD (which you can do wth as you please) We are looking for musical acts for the following dates: Friday July 8th - 8 pm showtime Friday July 29th - 8 pm showtime If you're interested, drop me an email at [email protected] or call me at 661-3120 Cheers! - Wed, 22 Jun 2005 7:32pm | ||

| ThreeSchoonerProd User Info... | I'm totally undertstanding that it can be a lot of work....we have had mostly solo artists in this venue. This type of show isn't for everyone, but I'm glad to hear you are going to get in touch with me. Incidentally, the July 29th show is now cancelled so we can focus on filming the sohw we plan to promote ourselves with.
