ThE VeNdOrS User Info... | Hey everyone, WE're looking to put on an all ages show and it's been a really long time since we've put one on ourself. What are some good venues? How much do they cost? Where is the draw usually best? Any info you cangive will be appreciated. Thanks so much, The Vendors - Sat, 26 Feb 2005 3:14pm
john User Info... | the gary oak room is good not too expensive, good draw, read the post regarding the 200+ most of that stuff is useful, need any other bands, if so email me [email protected] - Sun, 27 Feb 2005 1:03am
donkey User Info... | people should use the White Eagle hall more, its got a stage and good acoutstics, but fairly expensive, if you want to play a cheaper place, go for the the gerry Oak room, its pretty good acoustics, and it's tastefully sweaty when it fills up. Personaly, I dislike Big Fernwood, Gym's just dont do it acoustically......If your interested, my band, a 70's influenced rock named THe Deadbeats would be interested in playing. ScottL User Info... | White Eagle hall no longer allows events like this. Too bad cause it was a sweet venue. - Tue, 1 Mar 2005 7:18am
Brandon User Info... | What the fuck ever happened to having shows at Burnside school? - Tue, 1 Mar 2005 2:39pm
k8 User Info... | I heard they only rent to Scott. The staff there switched around awhlie ago so I don't know if they're really into hosting shows there anymore, which is a shame since it's a nice venue. - Tue, 1 Mar 2005 4:45pm
Brandon User Info... | yeah i enjoyed playing and attending shows there. We would just park the van across the street and do our boozing away from the kiddies. It was a perfect all ages venue. - Wed, 2 Mar 2005 3:35pm
swallowingstars User Info... | THE VENDORS ROCK MY WORLD -- these guys are great. Everyone should help them become super famous so we can all get rides on the tour bus. :D - Thu, 3 Mar 2005 3:30pm
ThE VeNdOrS User Info... | Thanks for all your help, everyone. We booked the Gary Oak Room... So look out for the show, it's gonna bea good one! - Sat, 5 Mar 2005 8:35am
Livevic Scott User Info... | Yeah Burnside is a tough gig to get, they're not as into it as they used to be. I can still get it sometimes but its alot of hoops to jump though and proposals etc. We did it for the BosevusFest in October and we were trying to do DOA there in Febuary but then they pulled the plug on the idea when Joey was having some personal things to deal with ... shame - Fri, 11 Mar 2005 1:01am
Face! User Info... | Theres a definite lack of all ages locations and shows, there ought to be many many more.. at least 1 great show every 2 weeks. From waht I've seen the really good shows come only once every 2 months, and the rest of the times the venues are like half empty. pretty depressing. If you guys wanna put on a show make sure its PUBLIC PUBLIC PUBLIC, and have a lineup that makes people wanna come out extra bad. - Tue, 22 Mar 2005 8:04pm
