_Griphin_ User Info... | http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1648306492583625113 Monsters of Rock - Moscow 1981. This is the video of Pantera, The Black Crows, Metallica, AC/DC and EST (Russian band) performing in Moscow in 1991. This is a real great concert and the crowd is great. A must watch metal concert for anyone. In August of 1991 in the USSR, the young chalenged the old. Those who questioned authority triumphed. FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK WE SALUTE YOU! "This is by far the best concert video I ve ever seen. This is the Monsters Of Rock concert held in the year 1991 in Moscow. The Russian government had invited Time Warner Company to stage the free show on Tushino International Airport. 11 000 Russian soldiers were at the area to secure law and order. The crowd attendace was absolutely phenomenal. Total no. of crowd attendance was estimated to be somewhere between 150,000 to 500,000. About 53 people died during the concert. An absolute mayhem, this concert was headlined by professors of Heavy Metal like Pantera, METALLICA, AC/DC and other bands like E.S.T (local Russian band) and The Black Crowes. This concert is special because prior to this concert Russia was going thru a civil war sort of a thing and the young triumphed over the old (K.G.B troops). I am not exactly sure about the Russian history and I could be wrong but nevertheless this video is kick ass and will blow your minds to smithereens. A must for rock fanatics to watch." - Tue, 6 May 2008 9:09pm Edited: Tue, 6 May 2008 9:11pm | ||
