mikey User Info... | Here is "...and Justice for All" with the mix on the bass turned up. http://www.killerchops.net/musicvideo.php?vid=eb467af71 It's pretty fucking rad. - Sat, 8 Mar 2008 9:41am
ROSS B AY User Info... | Always love the Newsted, solid as a rock. Pretty hot, too.....Justice rules, but is now a bit better. - Sat, 8 Mar 2008 9:51am
_Griphin_ User Info... | I wonder how they did that, and if they plan to redo the tracks on And Justice the same way (hearing bass)?!? It would be cooler if they re-issued the album with bass! - Sat, 8 Mar 2008 1:11pm
evilkleg User Info... | I've had a version of the whole album with bass for a couple of years now. It is called ...And Justice for Jason. You can prolly find a torrent for it. However, I read at the time the recordings had been made by a bassist not affiliated with Metallica. Whoever it is does a really really good job so I can see how people might think it is actually Jason's parts "turned up in the mix". If I remember correctly, the reason there is no audible bass on the original is because Hetfield's tone was so scooped and bass heavy already that there was no sonic room for Jason in the mix. ...And Justice for Jason is so good in fact that I never listen to the original anymore. Can someone tell me if this "new" version is in fact Jason's parts and not just the one I have that has been incorrectly reported? - Mon, 10 Mar 2008 1:11pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | Just listening to it, cept the copy I found is in 160 kbps :(. According to jasonizer.com, OK, we all know that on '...And Justice for All' the bass was little more than non-audible. Not that it wasn't compensated, but now you have the chance to listen to tracks from AJFA with heavy bass in them, courtesy of our talented 17 years old member Lokire, who played the extra bass on the tracks. And yes, sounds amazing! Can't wait to hear the Metallica camp re-mix the original for more bass!!!!! :) ...the shortest straw has been pulled for you!!! - Tue, 11 Mar 2008 11:42am Edited: Tue, 11 Mar 2008 11:47am
jeff User Info... | i dont know about this version, im pretty down with just hearing guitar. PIG DESTROYER FOREVER!!! - Wed, 12 Mar 2008 5:20am
Mr. Hell User Info... | With a more even mix (ie. less bass), I would prefer the new version to the old version. However, Jason's original track needs to be used or forget about it. The EQ reason seems like a bit of a BS excuse they would use to cover up their assholeness. The new false version proves that there is plenty of room for bass. - Wed, 12 Mar 2008 1:17pm Edited: Wed, 12 Mar 2008 1:19pm
