Matteus User Info... | sign me up! my concern lies in the petrol companies tying this up in courts, patents, and availablity. these machines dont guzzle enough gas for their pockets... - Tue, 10 Apr 2007 4:03pm
Mr. Hell User Info... | Soon the gas companies won't have much support from the courts if the global warming situation turns out to be 100% true and is in fact irreversible. They are both amazing, but the Angelo DiPietro one blew my mind! - Wed, 11 Apr 2007 4:26pm
trevor corey User Info... | This sucks for families that still own the mineral rights to farms in Saskatchewan. - Thu, 12 Apr 2007 2:20am
BBJones User Info... | That's dandy and all that... ... but the problem isn't that people use fuel instead of plugging in to recharge batteries/air tanks... ... the problem is that there are a bazillion people doing it everyday. Fossil fuel, bio-diesel, air, hydrogen... makes little difference. - Fri, 13 Apr 2007 3:30pm Edited: Fri, 13 Apr 2007 3:31pm
J. Peatman User Info... | Well, I'm sure that folks said the same thing about steam powered and internal combustion engines when a bazillion people were still using horse and carriage. - Wed, 18 Apr 2007 5:15pm
Mr. Hell User Info... | Set a good example for us, Linc and park your cars and hop on a ten speed. - Sat, 21 Apr 2007 12:28pm
BBJones User Info... | Its a myth that cycling improves the environment. The more you cycle or walk instead of driving, the more energy you burn. This leads to you eating more food and showering more often. This increases going out to buy, prepare and eat more. There are tremendous amounts of waste produced by the "behind the scenes" services which make all of that possible. Trasport trucks, garbage/recycling removal, endless manufacturing etc. So there is really little point to trying. The only solution is a global reduction of the need. This means less people. The only way that will happen is by letting everyone do it to themselves. Let Earth die... let the food dissapear and the resources dwindle. Everything will balance out in the end no matter how often you ride a bicycle. - Mon, 23 Apr 2007 9:06am Edited: Mon, 23 Apr 2007 9:06am
