It becomes selfish when you live vicariously through your child's life and create a false sense of individuality through that; otherwise your passing on what your parents GAVE to YOU... LIFE. Some use the excuse that our "world" or "way of life" is disgusting and wont dare bring a child into this earth... That's more selfish than actually having a child in my opinion. I don't ever see myself wanting to have kids, but it's pretty childish (ironically) to start accusing people who do have kids of somehow being morally inferior to you. It's a pretty basic biological instinct, if people weren't drawn towards the idea of having kids needless to say none of us would be here. - Sat, 2 Feb 2008 3:23pm | ||
