| speedymarie User Info... | as much as it chagrins me to admit it, there are a few values i do share with DAJ... i do recognize that the economy is a falsehood that we base our entire civilization on, when we are gone and the aliens come down to check out our ruins, they will presume our gods were CIBC, and other funny bank symbols as they are what adorn our tallest structures... our wheat prices are going up because corn is a more lucrative crop for biofuels...the same corn plant is no different, takes no more work to harvest than it ever did, needs not more water sun nor time, but now fuel is at a higher demand than bread...ugh, i hate economics, i understand that we need to put value on work (so we don't end up with a bunch of layabouts like DAJ) and money is the system that came about many many generations ago, but it is based on a falsehood, and we do have the rich layabouts (some unnamed heirs and heiresses and well marketed awful singers etc) and money makes money, which is a detriment to people trying to work to earn the layabout rights(or a retirement where they can afford not to be stuck in a government facility) please do not mistake my rant for switching sides here, i don't think camping downtownand leeching from my peers is the answer, showing how we can live without money...i care for my fellows and know we need to help each other it just pisses me off is all, that finance and market affect my little life life so, even when i try to rise above it... i would love to see DAJ go to one of the AIDS riddled communities in Africa(sorry not specific reference) and go and spout his soapbox BS to a town of orphans and sick people trying to pack healthy water to dying family members and scrambling for scraps to eat, while hiking miles for education in hopes of a better life....who wants to pitch in for a ticket? - Tue, 25 Sep 2007 8:26am | ||
