METALNECK User Info... | Hey peoples I was wondering if someone could help me out with some questions. I am buying my 5 year old son a drum kit for christmas and as I work 7 days a week and insanely long hours I won't have much time to shop around. I was in L&M for all of 5 mins today during my dinner break and saw little kits there for $339. The skins looked like they would break if I touched them though and the cymbals seemed comparitively weak. I don't want to spend more than $350 since I just bought him an ATV for his birthday but I don't want to get him a piece of crap kit that'll break before new years. Can anyone recommend a place to buy child size drum kits or give me any advice? - Tue, 25 Nov 2003 2:50pm

Gman User Info... | Hey MN, On those miniature kits, the shells and hardware are for the most part okay. The hihat and drum pedals are flimsy as are the skins. The cymbals are complete garbage. Also, unless you want your kid playing a kit made in China by other kids, avoid these things. Gman - Wed, 26 Nov 2003 10:14am
