| The Omaha Slinger User Info... |  My name is Chris and I am looking to join/start up a metal band here in Victoria. I am seeking serious musicians who want to make brutally heavy music! In the past, I have provided lead vocals for two bands (thrash metal and metal/hardcore) and was fortunate enough to open for acts such as Between the Buried and Me, Darkest Hour, Cancer Bats, The End, Ion Dissonance, Despised Icon, The Holly Springs Disaster, Thine Eyes Bleed, Baptized in Blood, etc. My vocal style is reminiscent of At the Gates, Zao, The Black Dahlia Murder, Thine Eyes Bleed, and Bring Me The Horizon --- Raspy! Screamy! Generally, I range from mid to high vocals, mixed with some low guttural vox. I am also fond of "shout out" parts.
