Lucky Bar User Info... | This friday at Lucky Bar, punk rock supergroup Kill Allen Wrench, all the way from L.A. Is this the man that killed Kurt Cobain? Come to Lucky to find out. Local jerkoffs Alcoholic White Trash to start the show. - Mon, 13 Oct 2003 10:14pm
Cap'n Mike User Info... | Curiosity killed the punk... but wasn't it El Duce from the Mentors that good ol' Ms Love was supposed to have hired to kill Kurt? I think the singer from Allen Wrench was in the Mentors too and thus the connection. El Duce is dead though, so "we'll never know who killed Kurt!" It wasn't me though. Yo Tyler, have I got it right you old punketty-punk gossip monger, you?! - Mon, 13 Oct 2003 10:53pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | Naaa... Kill Allen Wrench killed Cobain. But from my understand, just ignore everything K.A.W. says. Take a look at his website, and read it with a grain of salt. Very bizarre. - Tue, 14 Oct 2003 2:36am
Lucky Bar User Info... | The punk rock superstars are here! - Fri, 17 Oct 2003 5:25pm
jay brown User Info... | o.k. heres the story, El Duce actually said that Allen killed Kurt after he had said no to Courtney. Then a few weeks later El Duce was hit by a train and killed and the last person to be seen with him was Allen. Thats the bare bones of the story but that should do for now. Fuckin show ruled, gotta go do it again tonight in Van. - Sat, 18 Oct 2003 11:25am
Pooetry User Info... | I asked Mr. Wrench about the dealio with the deaths. He said that he gets that question a lot and sometimes just tells people, "Go ask them." The show was totally awesome. I hung out with them after the show and crashed (note the word crashed) at their hotel. See, this is because I'm the coolest person that ever lived and I hang with "international superstars" on a regular basis. Yeah, right. Nice guys, not too freaky in the slightest. It was joy, it was fun, it was seasons in the sun. - Sat, 18 Oct 2003 1:26pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | Man, I ended up getting really drunk on Colt 45, then ended up almost losing my job (well one of them) today. Tell ya, I should of gone to the K.A.W./A.W.T show. :( - Sat, 18 Oct 2003 5:38pm
Jennifer User Info... | Hate to say it but Lucky bar is really weak. The sound was horrible and the crowd, well, I won't even bother. I talked with KAW and none of them even wanted to play, but they rock for just coming to this small town. Funny how they only talked to my tits! Three cheers for the SLUTS(notice the emphasis on sluts), good to hear that someone put out cause i sure as hell wasn't about to. You are female aren't you? Untill next time. Jen. W. - Sat, 18 Oct 2003 8:14pm
Pooetry User Info... | Female, that I am. I didn't put out, sorry to let you down. I could've, but nope. - Sat, 18 Oct 2003 8:35pm
Lucky Bar User Info... | Jennifer, I am not sure who you talked to but it surely wasn't anyone in the band. They loved our city, loved the bar and want to come back here and play again anytime. Maybe next time you are being a groupie you should make sure you are actually talking to someone in the band. - Sun, 19 Oct 2003 2:01am
created to kill User Info... | O.J did it - Sun, 19 Oct 2003 9:36am
Ty Stranglehold User Info... | The sound and the crowd were both great. KAW is the consumate rock band. You would know this if you were out last time when they rocked just as hard for about 20 people as they did on Friday. They love coming here and will be back. - Sun, 19 Oct 2003 11:34am
jay brown User Info... | well since I played with them both nights and spent the afternoon in between showing them around van.. let me tell ya. They loved the shows, and had a total blast playing them. Their manager has invited us down to play with them there they had so much fun. As for the sound system in lucky, it's hit and miss sometimes, but the sound was great that night actually. Ya apparently there was some action being had in the hotel room when they were here, I heard all the gory details. Let me just say, I know a few girls I'm going to get to laugh at now. - Mon, 20 Oct 2003 7:29pm
matricide User Info... | whatever..you were probably right in there too! Let's be honest j-bird.....lol - Mon, 20 Oct 2003 7:39pm
S.V. User Info... | Come on Jay, you can't be serious! Sure Mr. Wrench and the boys have a smidge of smutty charisma, but it would take a whole lotta ruffies to get them any action. *shudder* - Tue, 21 Oct 2003 10:48am
Ty Stranglehold User Info... | check out the "groupies" section on their website. It would seem that they have a lot of female admirers. - Tue, 21 Oct 2003 11:35am
S.V. User Info... | Seen it....creeeepy! I doubt most of those pictures are from "groupies" in the traditional sense, more likely depraved exhibitionists. I'm sure KAW are amusing to party with, but I sure as hell wouldn't bare all for those crude devils (free merch or not ;). I saw one girl flash Rev Al on Friday, only to find she had been unexpectedly snapped by a digital camera. Like it or not, she's now a piece of KAW cyber cheesecake for the masses. - Wed, 22 Oct 2003 10:09am
Pooetry User Info... | Meh, it's all fun n games. It's to be expected from Kill Allen Wrench. If she didn't want to be on the website, she probably should've just kept her tits in her shirt. Not that hard to figure out. - Wed, 22 Oct 2003 11:53am
S.V. User Info... | Agreed Pooetry! Remember girls don't flash the Rev if you don't want to be immortalised on the web! - Wed, 22 Oct 2003 12:38pm
Broccoli User Info... | Apparently my friend Puked all over a few girls at that show (I was too incompasitated to notice). I would like to apologize on his behalf, and thank whoever was kissing me. - Thu, 23 Oct 2003 12:09pm
