_Griphin_ User Info... | So is it as fucked up as I've heard for the last 20 years? From what I've heard, seems like it was rather brutal (I've seen a few examples of really wierd situations from like 15 years ago, amazing I still remember them). - Wed, 8 Oct 2003 11:51pm

_Griphin_ User Info... | I don't mean now, I mean from 20 years ago to this point... and lets hope the scene stays around, it has a habit of dying. I don't know why though. - Thu, 9 Oct 2003 9:30pm
Johnny Appleseed User Info... | You guys sure sound like a bunch of geeks. - Thu, 9 Oct 2003 10:19pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | I guess my expectations were a little too high, really all these people in bands are just normal people. Isn't it strange how music has this huge effect on how you judge people? - Fri, 10 Oct 2003 9:17am
Nathan User Info... | judging is everywhere you go though, the scene most of the time anywhere you go is super snobbish, its kind of a piss off. why can't we all get along?! - Fri, 10 Oct 2003 12:26pm
Anonymous User Info... | the metal scene was way better back in the day. bands like armoros, mission of christ, and arcfiend played all the time, even bands like karrion and organized chaos from van came over and played. who remembers DRI and SACRED RIECH at the roxy?? - Fri, 10 Oct 2003 12:35pm
ML7Mike User Info... | I remember those shows, but back then metal bands played in Victoria maybe 3-4 times a year it seemed.. At least now one can catch a metal show at least once if not twice a week. Not to mention there are more metal fans overall now by a longshot then back in those days. Missing Arcfiend? Go see Desensitized or Pariah or Within A Vision! ( all ex members bands ) - Fri, 10 Oct 2003 1:01pm
ML7Mike User Info... | Not to mention Armoros who's members branched off into Strapping Young Lad, Black Diamond, now Sonic Doom as well just to name a few.. No sir, the metal scene in Victoria and BC in general has never been stronger.. ever. - Fri, 10 Oct 2003 1:13pm
ROSS B AY User Info... | what's this "metal" you speak of? - Fri, 10 Oct 2003 1:23pm

Pierce User Info... | Fucking rites I remember Dirty Rotten Imbuciles as well as Sacred Reich, not her though but in Labrador. Was speaking with ML7 axeman this past weekend, and he also agrees, there is SHITLOAD of talent in this town. - Fri, 10 Oct 2003 3:29pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | Yes, definately go see Desensitized, Quinn (who used to be in DreadNaut) plays in it (I think). Although I missed there last gig (I hate working days, missed a few killer gigs), I've heard they shred. Speaking of DRI, anyone remember them playing the Rats Nest? I met one of the members of Armoros last year, pretty cool. I've gotta work on the Mission of Christ demo I managed to get, probably dub that today. Alas, I babble. - Sat, 11 Oct 2003 10:37am
Mac User Info... | Oh! you mean The Local "Metal" scene.Well why didn't you say so? Silly Person. - Sat, 11 Oct 2003 6:52pm
KnifeGhost User Info... | The non-metal scene is pretty fly right now, and looking to get flyer..... I have yet to encounter any cliquery..... - Mon, 13 Oct 2003 10:33pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | Actually, I feel that more bands are taking the second step and marketing themselves a lot better. In fact there's so many bands in this town playing different styles, you can never really keep track of them all. - Tue, 14 Oct 2003 2:12am
