| ML7Mike User Info... | Actually we have signed a 3 year exclusive national and non-exclusive international distro deal with Galy Records, home of such bands as Gorguts, Neuraxis, Martyr, Soulscar, Ghoulunatics, Dead Brain Cells ( DBC ) http://www.galyrecords.com We declined on a full fledged signing and elected to go with distro for now. It is a small label, but well connected and seemingly on the rise ( apparently Destruction are looking at him as an alternative to Nuclear Blast, so that says something.. ) Either way it gets our cd into all the chains across Canada and most of the smaller outlets, and we will get excellent promotion in Quebec and Ontario, our two toughest Canadian markets, as well as album cover adverts in Metal Maniacs, BWBK, Unrestrained! and a few other contenders. ps: check out our review from Unrestrained! which you can get at Chapters.. http://www.meatlockerseven.com/reviews/index.htm - Tue, 30 Sep 2003 10:54am | ||

| ML7Mike User Info... | Oh ok, I see what ya mean now.. Nope no plans at all to do that. I think its a matter of being in the right place at the right time more than anything, although distro doesnt hurt the cause. From what Ive heard through a friend in the UK, the present SYL tour may be their last anyhow, but I know we have all heard that one before! However, if the opportunity arises.. Byron is who we usually deal with anyways, and he knows about the distro. Realistically, there are a large number of bands revolving around the SYL camp who would probably get a tour slot before us anyhow. - Fri, 3 Oct 2003 2:16pm | ||
