KnifeGhost User Info... | Chances are I'll go..... I would totally go see Sloan in 1995, but my time machine is in the shop..... - Tue, 16 Sep 2003 1:20am
some girl... User Info... | I saw Sloan when they toured with the Inbreeds (1995? Was this the show you saw Knifeghost? At Uvic?) They aren't worth $20 since they really suck now. To be honest though, they have no stage performance talent unless you call standing in the same spot talent. Aren't they more of a girl's kinda band now? I can imagine a bunch of 14 year olds swarming them for some reason. - Thu, 18 Sep 2003 4:38pm
say what? User Info... | You know dick about music if you think Sloan possesses no musical talent or performing abilities. - Thu, 18 Sep 2003 5:30pm
hmm.... User Info... | so quick to shoot one's opinion down. Yet your opinion, in my opinion, is a load of shit too... sloan is good, but the way you've presented yourself and opinion makes you look like an ass cause really you don't know dick about music - Fri, 19 Sep 2003 11:39am
some girl... User Info... | They know how to play their instruments really really well but they still don't rock. This is the fate of many bands: when they start out they sound great (energy wise) but as they progress in their music capabilities they loose their appeal and end up sounding dull and common. Their new songs all sound the same. I still stand by my comment that they aren't entertaining live (not when I saw them at least). All they did was stand and sing: nothing exciting. - Fri, 19 Sep 2003 1:32pm
Trailer Park Boy Julian User Info... | I met a great friend (and ex-girlfriend of 2 years) at a Sloan show at Harpo's 10 years ago almost to the day... ahhh the memories.... - Fri, 19 Sep 2003 1:36pm
