tyler User Info... | i need cheap silk screeing to make patches and shirst someone help me out/ give me ideas - Mon, 29 Dec 2008 5:51pm
Tyler User Info... | diy! there are books about diy silkscreen setups at camas. it looks tricky though. emulsion... fancy bulbs... man, I'd need someone to physically show me that. or you can always just make stencils and use fabric paint. some people who I think do silkscreening... cody of young lions, joey of away r'io, joshua of counting heartbeats. I think ty of the hoosegow might do it or know somebody who does. when troy and I made shirts, we got a dude in president kennedy is assassinated to do it, he lives in bremerton. keep me updated dude, I want one when they're done. if anyone here runs silkscreening workshops or would teach me for free sometime, I'm interested. - Tue, 30 Dec 2008 9:52am Edited: Tue, 30 Dec 2008 9:55am
darcy User Info... | I would say that you should hit up a fabric store (I don't know of many, but I've used the one on Douglas across from the Dollar Giant), and going to a company to get them done. I would try out http://www.concyse.ca/public/index.html . I've used them before and it always works out. - Tue, 30 Dec 2008 6:26pm

Austin [hates you] User Info... | Damn, got here late. But Tyler, if you're getting into silk screening, you should hit up Olio Arts Cooperative, thats the big thing they do. They have all the equipment to silk screen, and will sell you all the supplies you need (inks and such) for cheap, usually way cheaper than stores will sell to you. It's $15 a month to join, and something like $2 an hour to use the studio space. If you want, I can get you in touch with Joey so you can talk to him about it and decide for yourself. - Mon, 19 Jan 2009 4:40pm
BLoTTo User Info... | try talking to bonehead at Old nicks emporium on johnson street. I know the dayglo abortions have really nice multi colored shirts. Not sure if they do it themselves or have someone else do it, but you could ask them. Just call them up and ask for brian. He at least may point you in the right direction. - Thu, 29 Jan 2009 1:04pm

Tyler User Info... | thanks Austin! your girlfriend (fiancee?) told me about that, but then I wrote it down and forgot about it. I'll ask Joey...now. - Fri, 30 Jan 2009 10:48am
Sati User Info... | I need to get some banners done up, 1 color on black. I need them to look really slick - should I try a couple silkscreened? I'll call Kaos Kult, he's a good guy. - Wed, 4 Feb 2009 9:55am
Tyler User Info... | is that how banners are made? everyone I know who silkscreens has a small screen, usually 11x17 or so. I suppose a banner could be done over multiple screens. but you'd be going into expensive, "professional" screening for a banner I think. I'd just make a careful stencil, if I were you, out of cardboard or something. - Wed, 4 Feb 2009 10:24am
Sati User Info... | oh, I don't know the first thing about how its done. I'm looking for 2' square banners. - Wed, 4 Feb 2009 10:28am
