Mike User Info... | I find the lead work a bit quiet.. you guys need a new producer. fire this guy for sure. - Wed, 5 Nov 2008 11:02am
BBJones User Info... | Not sure how to pin it down... overall it isn't powerfull enough. Live, its crushing, but the recordings are too thin and almost "nice" if you know what I mean. Perhaps it has a lot to do with the drum sound? Too thin/narrow? Too clean? Like I said, can't really pin it down but it isn't showing off your stuff like it should. Maybe it's just my crummy ear buds at work... - Wed, 5 Nov 2008 12:50pm Edited: Wed, 5 Nov 2008 12:51pm
Brayden User Info... | Yeah, it's been said time and time again that the drums are the hardest thing to get a good sound out of on a home recording, and these tracks are no exception. Other than that, you just can't get that pro studio sound when you're on a budget. This EP cost us about $150 in total (plus the cost of renting the compressor that we didn't use), so that being said, I think that "Hope Falls" turned out about as good as we could have hoped for without paying for a studio. Not quite studio quality, but well above typical home recording demo quality. Thanks for the feedback...keep it coming! - Wed, 5 Nov 2008 3:54pm Edited: Wed, 5 Nov 2008 3:58pm
ROSS B AY User Info... | Yeah. Play more Accused covers. Or else. - Wed, 5 Nov 2008 5:36pm
Tambo User Info... | Slays. The drums are definitely too thin though... - Wed, 5 Nov 2008 5:40pm
Destroy_The_Flesh User Info... | Very wicked songs that aren't being done justice due to, you guessed it the audio quality, mainly with the drums. Still though the songs themselves are great! - Wed, 5 Nov 2008 6:47pm
grimlord User Info... | The new one is grate and I love your stuff, the sound is as good as you can get for what they have ,and live is so cool blows me away. But if you could boost production more it would go a long way .Even if you have to sell your ass get er dun Ross Bay is right More Accused " All you ugly ladies your in luck cuz we're fucken we're fucken fer bucks " - Wed, 5 Nov 2008 10:57pm
Austin [hates you] User Info... | The music sounds really good, and that's coming from someone who really isn't into this kind of metal. As for the recordings, maybe this is just cuz I'm a shitty hardcore kid, but they sound pretty fucking good for only $150, and done in your home. I've heard soooo much worse than this. Like I said, this really isn't my thing, so maybe I'm not the best person to be throwing his opinion out there. But you seem like you've got a good thing going. Hope you do well. Good luck with 3 Inches on Friday! - Mon, 10 Nov 2008 12:18pm
