ROSS B AY User Info... | Date: May 28, 2006 3:36 AM Subject: Tour Log 1 (an east coast adventure of beer & fishn n chips) Body: Real Deal log May 28th, 2006 1:30am Fredericton, NB Exact location: ASA van Company: Ants, Franki, Kevin and Kevin The East Coast portion of our Canadian tour is coming to an end. We play Edmunston, NB tomorrow and then its back to Montreal for a few shows around town before we head out West for a 30+ date marathon. The tour has been pretty fucked up so far. A couple shows cancelled from the road so there was a lot of down time. Much enjoyed however because it gave us a chance to catch up with our great buds from All Star Assassins, who are kicking major ass on the coast by the way, drinking a lot of beer, keeping each other entertained, visiting new towns and meeting new people. We got the chance to visit the Alexander Keith Brewery on our day off in Halifax, which was pretty cool. Heads up on the new Honey Beer! Its yummy! As usual the Valley kids made this tour worthwhile. Thanks guys for showing us once again, and showing the Assassins especially, that the east coast punk scene is still very much alive. Huge apologies to Charlottetown punks, Lunenburg folks and Sydney area kids for not having shows line up in your areas. You can respectively blame Jamie Clow, The Blockhouse Firehall and Scott Gillard. Enough said. About to put Alpine and Keith beer aside and fish and chips to rest, TRD and ASA summer tour has just fucking begun! Blue! Blue! Blue! - Sun, 28 May 2006 7:51am
ROSS B AY User Info... | Date: Jun 20, 2006 6:51 PM Subject: Tour Blog 4 (fun, fun, fun) Body: It is with regret that i must inform you, The Real Deal are having way more fun than you this summer! The rest of our dates in Ontario kicked ass! We were all really impressed at how well the response was in Ontario and we thank you folks for reviving the punk scene! The rest of our stay in Nobleton was a blast! Huge thanks to the Mushroom guys and Outspoken for putting us up, feeding us and drinking us! More special thanks to Sobriety's Rejects for the kick ass North Bay show and the wild BBQ and of course, our favorite Ontario crowd, The Sault Sainte Marie Punks! When the rest of the province was going to shits, Sault punks kept it real and this year's show was more alive than ever! Thanks guys! We then started trucking to the Prairies! Our Winnipeg show was actually pretty cool this time and thanks to Greg from High Five Drive for putting us on last minute and filling out gas tank! We owe you a few by now buddy! Unfortunatly last nite sucked ass because a) Swift Current, SK is the lamest place on the face of the Earth cancelling the show because of the Oilers game and b) the Oilers fuckin lost fuck!! The cup is back in the States christ! Oh well shit happens and we'd like to apologize to anyone who came out to the Current show and who, well didnt get to see a show. Be sure that is was is no way TRD or ASA's fault and that we were 10 times more pissed off than you! Anyways i gotta kind of make this quick because im taking over the Gaslight's Saloon's office space but we can't wait to hit up Alberta and BC! I had a longer blog writting up on Franki's laptop but it is out of commission right now! Dah well! Hope this was somewhat informative! Hope to write back after a few Alberta shows! Have a good one folks! ants - Tue, 20 Jun 2006 8:27pm

ROSS B AY User Info... | Jun 29, 2006 4:13 PM Subject: Tour Blog 5 (Sweet fuckin Alberta) Body: Fuck it's good to be back in this part of the country! The shows have been kicking ass and the parties have increased 10-fold! Ultimate weird though yesterday when our Calgary show got cancelled because Samuel L Jackson was filming a new movie in the venue parking lot...so he basically bought out our fuckin show! We got paid which was good but we felt so bad about evacuating and not apologizing to anyone who came out to the show! Good news! The show is postponed to July 19th so we'll see you guys then and there...as long as Hollywood stays out of our way this time! Aside from that we've been taking in some wiccked sites around the rockies. Hiking in Banff! Elk up close today in Jasper! Icefields rule! Edmonton rules! Fuck this province rules!! I'll hit you guys up again from Kamloops! Cheers ants - Fri, 30 Jun 2006 4:03am
ROSS B AY User Info... | Date: Jul 4, 2006 12:49 AM Subject: Tour blog 6 (BC here we are!) Body: Hey peeps! So after a superb run in Alberta we now have a few days off in Kamloops to chill with the All Stars in their home town and observe them in their natural habitat! Alberta was even better than we remembered it from last year! Huge thanks to everyone who put us up and all people who held after parties in our name. Special thanks to Jasper! They hosted the largest show on the tour so farwe played to over 200 people! Lee from Sonance ruled our Canada day weekend treating us to BBQs galore and a memorable trip up the tramway to the summit of the Whistlers. Thanks brother! Oh yeah, we also took our first trip to BC for a show in Prince George! Fuck do we ever hate that townI wont start naming the reasons why because the list would go on and on! But the show and everyone who was there was pretty cool so that made up for the citys crapiness. After a little back tracking, we played in Hinton to cap off the Alberta portion of the tour. I dont think weve ever sold more CDs in one night! Thanks to the Blame-its boys for putting us on and giving us some extra cash for the road! Be sure to look into that band! They fucking rule!!! Right now, were sitting on full stomachs watching movies in Jeremy Assassins awesome pad! Ill prob get around to hitting you guys up with one more update before were back homemaybe once we hit Vancouver Island?! Fuck were stoked to play the Ska Fest there! Until then! - Tue, 4 Jul 2006 7:31am
ROSS B AY User Info... | Jul 11, 2006 12:19 PM Subject: Tour Blog 7 (almost done!) Body: hey hey! So here we are in Vancouver, BC. The tour is almost done. We're all in disbelief. I don't think 2 months have ever gone by so fast! I guess we have to blame the kick ass time we've been having as the culprit! We played Vancouver last night infront of about 30 people...which was about 30 more people than we played to last time in Vancity so i call that a success! haha! We'll be heading to Vancouver Island today and caping off the tour there on Saturday in Courtenay. We play ska fest in Victown tomorrow (performing our Operation Ivy tribute) so we're pretty stoked for that! This will probably be the last blog before we get back home, we'll prob be partying pretty hard on this last stretch trying to take in all the All Star Assassins greatness as we possibly can before we part ways! Signing off for now Oh and our "Waiting for the Wave" EP is now available on INTERPUNK.com So for all you kind folks in the U.S. and across the world who have been enjoying our music on myspace, the EP is now available for your order. Canadian kids, dont forget that the EP is available in stores across Canada! Talk to you more from Montreal! ants - Tue, 11 Jul 2006 2:02pm
