evilkleg User Info... | Got a question for all you metal guys tuned to B. Right now I'm using .56 .46 .36 .26 .17 .13 B,E,A,D,F#,B. I'm thinking of going one step lighter. Like switching from 10's to 9's if it were standard tuning. Are there any packaged sets out there that would work? Can you tell me the gauges that are correct if I started with a .54 or .52? What do you guys use? - Wed, 12 Apr 2006 2:56pm Edited: Wed, 12 Apr 2006 3:07pm
Platoon User Info... | On my guitar tuned to B I am currently using 13-56s. It has been a while since I have restrung this particular guitar. I usually do things a bit differently than convention. Next time I restring I will probably have some more input. - Wed, 12 Apr 2006 6:06pm Edited: Wed, 12 Apr 2006 6:09pm
Destroy_The_Flesh User Info... | I as well am tuned to B standard. And I use Dean Markley DT's (13-56) , in order to peak the grimdometre this gauge is perfect for me.I have tried other guitars with 54's and I thought that there was definately too much slack, I couldn't imagine 52's - Wed, 12 Apr 2006 8:24pm Edited: Wed, 12 Apr 2006 8:28pm
