| critquer User Info... |  Not sure where these people got the idea that this Joyce "The Voyce" could sing??? Could she sound any whiter singing blues type material, zero soul!!! Actually she has what is called "Anti-soul"! Listened to a track (Beast of burden) and she is definately that!!! A beast of burden to musical ears. She sang out of tune (at some point) in almost every line. Whomever decided to make up this BS about her (as seen on their website) "Considered one of the top blues/soul vocalists in Western Canada, Joyce Allensen, known as "The Voice" to her musical peers, is an incredibly powerful vocalist as well as being a vibrant stage personality which she has honed over the last 30 years as lead singer for...(too funny!)" Crap!!! They are out of their minds! Just because you say someting, doesn't make it so!!! No matter how hard you wished it did! "IN ALL OF WESTERN CANADA"...I'm rolling on the floor!!! Auntie Kate, now THERE'S a "Soulfull/Powerful/entertaining individual! She would get everyones vote for "most powerfull female singer on the island"! And there are many other talented female blues/Jazz/Pop singers in Western Canada...Joyce I'm affraid, aint' one of them! Get a grip on reality folks!!! | Critiquer #2 User Info... | I'm with ya dude. The vocals in Voyce is god damn awful. The music is weak. She sounds like she has been smoking for 30 years. Definately out of key.
