Peter Gardner User Info... | Yea Jesus Christ How is this working? Each band playing half a song? - Sun, 18 Sep 2005 10:15pm
Kickback User Info... | well from what i was told when they called us to play it was going to be 7-10 bands with 30minute sets. But ya... now i dunno how early this thing is gonna start with them quoting 13 bands as "some of the bands". What i wanna know is who else were called by Supernova Ent. and were asked to play? - Sun, 18 Sep 2005 10:39pm
Ian User Info... | My band was contacted and asked to play...of course at the time I was silly and assumed there would be a reasonable number of bands playing...the Social Code website currently shows doors at 5pm with SIXTEEN BANDS listed as playing this show. Sounds like a grab to get as many bands to bring their fans as possible, that's enough bands to realistically have 4 shows going simultaneously...stunning. - Sun, 18 Sep 2005 11:24pm
wanless User Info... | It is a weird set up to have bands, and now that its at legends it seems even stranger for that many bands. Also supernova said that the set list for bands is alotted by how many tickets each band has sold. Which is actually kinda cool. Except selling tickets sucks - Mon, 19 Sep 2005 1:12am
jackass User Info... | hahaha....gear storage and change overs should be a good time!! Have fun with that one. - Mon, 19 Sep 2005 9:43am
H User Info... | Expect to be sharing amps and a drumset - prolly provided by good ol' L&M. Anyone know if this is a battle of the bands type deal or just a massive showcase? - Mon, 19 Sep 2005 4:14pm
Kickback User Info... | Ya it's shared gear from what i'm being told. Should be fun starting the show at 9am on a Sunday lol - Mon, 19 Sep 2005 5:57pm
donkey User Info... | each band is given thirty minutes, including their take down and set up, so itll actually be thirty min. sets, instead of twenty min. set up and take downs and a thirty min. set. The drums and amps and mikes are all provided. There will be judges, the winner gets $500 of yamaha gear. ps I was told that each drummer would need to bring their own hardware. Does this include all cymbals? I've heard very different definitions of drum hardware. - Mon, 19 Sep 2005 6:28pm
wanless User Info... | Usually by hardware they would be refering to pedals and cymbals, you can bring you stands too if you want, it would be a smart thing to do. For me im using my cymbals pedals stool and snare - Mon, 19 Sep 2005 11:19pm
