A $540 dollar guitar that plays like a $1800 axe , then put 81/85 pups in'er and vwaa la ! I'll be buying the MH-400nt this year ,just have to reserve one to try it out and get a chance at'm before they go flying out the door. | ML7Mike User Info... | Actually Redneck, after trying out a bunch of LTD's at Tom Lee on Saturday Id have to say the Ibanez SZ720 I bought last week has a very similar feel to that type of LTD and Schecter. It seems to be a trend to build decent guitars with that style of neck for cheaper now. The Ibanez cost $760 + $135 for the EMG 81 I put in it on Friday. Mind you, the quality LTD's come with superior machine heads, either Grover or Sperzel, so by the time Im done with the Ibanez it will be about $1000 including my upgrades. The Schecters dont come with EMG either and are more in the $1200-$1300 range for the C6, Blackjack or Elite series. - Mon, 23 May 2005 8:01am | ||
| Colin {Sic} User Info... | dont be fooled by the tuners on an ltd, or an epiphone for that matter. Grover is now making cheap tuners aswell. I remeber a shipment of epiphones came with "grovers" on them and they didnt even have the right name on them. Thankfully they dont sell these tuners to the public.
