Some people are in bands because they have a need to communicate their viewpoint(s) to people in an artistic way. other people form bands because they figure that it's the best way to get to the point where you can snort coke off of a hookers tits. In my case I play in bands simply because it's what I do; if I had absolutely no public audience for my music I would still do it just to have something interesting to play in my car, because now that I'm old and crotchety I find most modern music incredibly dumb or derivative (there are exceptions). That's right kids, in my mind I have "been there and done that". And IMO one has to keep "doing that" in order to grow musically. | Vegas J User Info... | There's ALWAYS tons of bands out there...always have been always will be...do whatever you want..it's NOT a competition really...the cream will rise to the top ( if that's what you want ) ..if you just want to f**k around and play in front of people and have a good time that's great too!
