No Minors Tickets: $5.00 Before 10:30 PM / $7.00 After 10:30 PM - Available Only At The Door Stir Fry humbly began by accident at Steamers Pub almost seven years ago as a weekly gathering of Hip Hop, Funk, Dancehall, and Breaks turntable mayhem in Victoria, BC. After two years at Steamers the night moved to Lucky Bar, and has since become the longest running Hip Hop club night in Western Canada EVER. Always evolving, Stir Fry has become a musical institution, and has played host to many guests large, small, and often unannounced. The goal of everyone who has been a part of Stir Fry has always been to just do what feels right and natural, and expose people to truly great music. With that said the current members of Stir Fry, feel that the mission is now complete. Since its inception 60,000+ patrons have graced the night, and more spontaneous musical creativity has occurred onstage then can be quantified. Stir Fry has made it’s mark, and now it’s time to move on. If you’re reading this, and you’ve attended Stir Fry in the past, then you should feel good knowing that you contributed to the success of Stir Fry. The scene that develops around a situation is really what ultimately defines the situation. The Stir Fry crowd has always been a serious example of peaceful, positive, like-minded, yet diverse and unique individuals that know how to have a good time together. Hopefully Stir Fry entertained you, if not inspired you in some way, because you all inspired us to accomplish what we did!
