| denver User Info... | okay so i was playing a fender 60's bassman head into a an 8 ohm marshall cab, i've been doing this for over a year, the tubes are pretty new and are defintely the right ones, and are biased properly and all that. i was going to get an fx loop put into the amp at l and mcquade, so i gave it to them, but then decided against it, when i got the amp back there was no fuse, so i brought it back and they put a fuse in, all in all they had the amp for at least a few months, so anyways, shortly after getting the newly fused amp back, i was playing into the marshall and all of a sudden no sound, the bassman still worked but any amp into the marshall produced no sound, i really needed to play, so two days later i put the bassman into a fender cab, and after a little while same thing, no sound again, so basically i blew or fucked up something on both cabinets, does anybody have any insights? could this have something to do with the fuse? note - there is limited sound coming from the speakers of both amps, about 1/10th of what it should be though, thanks a lot Denver - Tue, 8 Mar 2005 6:52pm | ||
