denver User Info... | my bass player has no good amp right now, is it okay to plug his solid state 40 watt bass amp (pretty quiet) into my marshall 4 by 12 mini cab, is there any possibility of blowing/wrecking the speakers, I didn't even consider this a possibility until he mentioned it, anybody? thanks - Fri, 3 Dec 2004 6:08pm
de mayo User Info... | as long as the ohms match up, you shouldn't have a problemo. look on the back of both items and you should be able to see how many ohms they use. it's usually gonna be 2,4,8 or 16 ohms. - Fri, 3 Dec 2004 6:32pm

the pine tree savage User Info... | guitar amps usually are not meant to handle those frequencies, at least that is what one of my buddies was screaming at me one drunken night, when I plugged a bass into a guitar amp! you can plug a guitar into a bass amp no problem, actually I prefer it, it gives a much chunkyer sound, good for chops, and low end speed metal - Sun, 2 Jan 2005 5:50pm
