Evilkleg User Info... | If you want to save some money, check out Bill Lawrence pickups (billlawrence.com). I've been playing on his L-500 humbucker model for years and love it. The L-500XL is even hotter and they cost about $80-90 cdn delivered to your front door. That's about $40-50 less than Long&McQuade will cost you. If you want something by Dimarzio or Seymour Duncan or some other name you might recognize, try http://www.music123.com. They have lots to choose from and will beat any price you find on the internet and they ship to Canada (which I found was rare with these american internet sites). Just remember, you have to pay duty on top of the final purchase and shipping price. However, after all was said and done they were still much less than L&McQ. One final thought- if you want a pickup that screams, you may have to sacrifice clean tone a little and vice versa. - Sat, 11 Sep 2004 11:20am | ||
