Even though I'm jobless and poor, I'd find a way to get a ticket, I'm not against selling my things. Cuz hey, do I really need 2 kidneys? And if suffocation do agree to play here, I'll definatly be filling up the tub with ice. But seriously, I don't think getting someone to promote the show is the hard part, I think Dodsanger is right, finding a venue that's willing to have a band that wants to be guarenteed $2500 US should be a challenge, although not impossible especially after the success of the cannibal show. I wouldn't mind if they made the tickets like $20-30 because personally I'd rather pay it and see them play here then have the hassle and expense of, lets say, having to travel over to van to see them play in a bigger venue. Besides they won't just have ticket sales, if they play here I'm sure that the vast majority of people who would go would be picking up shirts and cds as well.
