Lucky Bar User Info... | Hey... Yes, it is true. The promoter has violated an agreement with Lucky, and has decided to make a cash grab and move the Suicide Girls over to the Central at the last minute because he believes he can sell more tickets and make more money on what would have been a sell-out show. Which means he has hung us out to dry, despite the fact that it was booked with us almost four months ago, and that we have put a lot of promotion and support into the show. But, we're not going to whine about it, and since it has nothing to do with you, you should go see the show and enjoy it. However, if you feel like stopping by Lucky on the way, we will be giving out stickers and selling Lucky merch at staff prices for anyone who feels like wearing it over at the Central as a statement against greedy promoters. We open at 9pm, and will probably have some drink specials for anyone who shows up. PS - There is an open letter to the promoter and the Central available outlining the negative implications of moving the show. For a copy, email [email protected] and put SORRY YOU GOT SCREWED in the subject box. - Mon, 12 Jul 2004 1:22am

Bryn User Info... | Tough luck. You definitely don't deserve to get treated like that. I hope that you are able to take advantage of some kind of recourse. - Mon, 12 Jul 2004 11:04am
Chris Logan User Info... | Very, very bad JuJu, and shortsighted on the promoter's part. Can you let us know who it was? Email me if you feel uncomfortable posting it online. - Mon, 12 Jul 2004 12:14pm
Zippgunn User Info... | If what you say is entirely true and they have indeed breached a contract I for one would like to know who the promoter is so I can be forearmed before I ever deal with this promoter. This is a small town. - Mon, 12 Jul 2004 2:34pm
