The Omaha Slinger User Info... | Holy friggin' hell!!!!!!! I'm not sure if anyone else is as stoked for this as I am, but At the Gates are releasing a DVD Box Set on April 20th!!!!!!! It's called "Flames of the End." It's a live DVD from Wacken 2008, plus a 2 hour documentary on the band. I was at the Toronto show of this tour back in 08' and I can definitely say it was one of the best shows I have been to. Here's the link to youtube trailer for the DVD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fa6PeVuSmI Cheers, Chris - Mon, 12 Apr 2010 11:28am
Above the knee User Info... | Ooh this will be a new addition to the ol' DVD collection. Hope the sound quality is primo. - Thu, 22 Apr 2010 4:17pm
The Omaha Slinger User Info... | Yeah man, what can I say? Sweden certainly has a knack for producing hockey superstars and sweet, sweet metal (occasionally in twin form)! The Haunted has a new DVD coming out in June as well! Peace Mike, Chris - Thu, 22 Apr 2010 11:41pm

The Omaha Slinger User Info... | I'm pretty sure Lyle's Place has it. - Sun, 2 May 2010 12:44pm
Above the knee User Info... | Got it... So the most impressive thing is that it is 100% no overdubs. Completely live sound. I'd be shitting my pants going into a show thinking my every note is going to be immortalized as played. - Mon, 17 May 2010 12:24pm
The Omaha Slinger User Info... | From what I understand, I think most, if not all live Earache Records DVD releases are no overdubs. I could be wrong on that one though.. The clip from the NYC show is completely ridiculous! You can barely hear Tomas' vocals over the entire crowd singing every word of Slaughter of the Soul! Sooooooo good! That crowd is amazing! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMG428Tl3L0&feature=related (BTW, the rest of the DVD is way better quality than this clip.. I kinda wish they had a better recording from this show because the energy from the crowd is friggin' incredible!) The documentary is pretty cool too.. hearing them talk about back in the day when they were starting out, gigging and partying together with In Flames and Dark Tranquility.. Interesting stuff for sure! - Mon, 17 May 2010 12:46pm Edited: Mon, 17 May 2010 12:58pm
Above the knee User Info... | I thought it was funny how it is mostly in Swedish with subtitles... That's something you didn't really see on the In Flames or Dark Tranquility DVD's - Mon, 17 May 2010 3:23pm
The Omaha Slinger User Info... | Haha, yeah it threw me off at first. I had to jump back to the menu to make sure that I had "English" subtitles selected.(Although some of it is in English, it does seem that a good chunk is in Swedish) .. So far, my Swedish is fairly limited - I only know how to say, "Cheers Goddamn it," and I'm not even sure if I have it right (Skål gud fan den!?!).. Cheers! - Mon, 17 May 2010 3:45pm Edited: Mon, 17 May 2010 4:05pm
