Grain fed User Info... | Hey to everyone! All the way over here in Norway visiting family. I'm in but fk nowhere right now but at the end of my trip I'll be staying in the capitol. I was wondering if anyone knew the names of any sweet bands I should check out or try to buy cd's from. I have heard alot about the black metal over here and though that's not my thing i'd still check it out. Any help with band names would be great. P.S. Look out for the ParKings this summer we'll be breaking onto the scene at a bar near you. Anybody want to record us? Grant - Thu, 13 May 2004 10:27am

lonemonk User Info... | When exactly will you be in town (You mentioned the toward the end of your trip)? Its a shameless promotion I know, but People's War has a CD for you to take back to Norway with you. Perhaps the northern races would like to hear some communist Reggae. We're tentatively booked for a gig on the 26th as well (Central Bar and Grill) What kind of recording are you looking for? Studio or Live? - Thu, 13 May 2004 11:35am
Grain Fed User Info... | Sorry for the missunderstanding, I didn't call myself Norse though. I'm actually from Victoria and I'm in Norway right now. I'll be in Oslo around the 24th till the 1st of June when I come home to Canada. Again any hints on NORWEGIAN BANDS would be apprecaited. Lonemonk my band the ParKings is looking to do a studio album this summer......... For any of you Cat's that know me consider this your post card and I'll see you at one of the shows in June Grant - Fri, 14 May 2004 6:07am
Perpetual_Burn User Info... | Hehe. Well, I only really know about the Black/Death bands that are from Norway. As of now you can try to check out bands like Windir, Marduk, Setherial, Satyricon, Myrkskog, Stormlord, Zyklon, Darkthrone, Taake, Gorgoroth, Susperia, Burzum, Griffin, Tidfall, Enslaved, Mayhem, Kvist and of Course Dimmu Borgir. There should be lots of other great shows coming through the area as there always are in that part of the world. Sorry it's an overload! - Fri, 14 May 2004 6:46am
Grain Fed User Info... | I found a few Dimmu Borgir tunes and I didn't like it much not nearly raw enough for me, too industrial. But thanks for all the other names I'll look into it. - Sat, 15 May 2004 5:21am
Hagberg User Info... | Check out Gluecifer as well, I believe they're from Norway. They're more comparable to the likes of Danzig and AC/DC. - Sun, 16 May 2004 6:44am
