| jackass User Info... | my advice to bands wanting to play the warped tour: show up in the morning with all your gear in your van, tell the security you are there to play, then find the table where they make the list of bands playing that day. The order is always made up on that day, so just give them your name and wait to see if you get to play. Can't hurt! Even if you don't get to play, you might get to get in for free. | jackass User Info... | I know, I was there. The thing was, the Battle of the Bands stage didn't cross the border, so they had nothing for those bands to play on. When we showed up in the am, they didn't know who anybody was, but if you told them you were in a band playing that day, the security let you in. Then, you go find the table where they are taking roll call of the bands playing..you sign a sheet and you wait to find out what stage you are playing on. | mcecill User Info... | The way the contest works is the judges choose four bands to play each stop of the tour. The internet voting is in place to decide who wins the prizes that are up for grabs. The Vancouver Warped tour has Unlabeled, Kincaide, Billy and the Lost Boys, and Ludo (from Quesnel) playing the Ernie Ball stage. - Thu, 29 Apr 2004 5:47pm | ||
