Message Board > Music Chitchat - Heavy > Rhetorical Question no. 1 - what local band would you have chosen to open for the pixies? |
Brand X Jesse User Info... | Just curious. It's a rare oppertunity for any band, espacially in Vic. So, who would you have chosen on the grounds of being a band that A) deserves the attention B) would compliment the headliner C) isn't your band ? - Tue, 20 Apr 2004 2:38pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | Easy question: Noisies (Dave knows Frank Black), they sound awesome and suited for the poppiness of the tour so far. Remanes (they get the crowd going). Gashley Crumb (wierd, cool little band that should get noticed). Armchair Cynics (there popular, and signed to 604 records) Fine Options (it's a crapshoot) Anti-Band (OK, so it's just an idea in my mind :) - Tue, 20 Apr 2004 6:31pm
Brand X Jesse User Info... | My votes would go to - Run Chico Run (they have the spacey sci-fi vibe going for them and a lively enogh show to get the crowd going) Frog Eyes (Same reason as above) Immaculate Machine (I'm not sure why, but I think they'd do it justice) that's really all I could think of now. - Tue, 20 Apr 2004 6:43pm
