| Sati User Info... | For those who haven't yet heard, Greg Johnson, vocalist for The Fiends died Friday. He'd been in the hospital for several weeks. My very sincere condolences to all who knew him. I know we shared a lot of mutual friends, kind hearted people who've been suffering through an extremely difficult time. Please help me in wishing them some relief over these next few days. A benefit show turned memorial was held last night at the Wise Hall and a wake is now being planned. Donations will continue to be accepted which will go to his family. - Sun, 6 Dec 2009 1:25pm | ||

| sage User Info... | This is horrible news. Greg was one of the few guys who understood the work and heart that went into creating a community around music. I miss him now, but will miss him most on Fathers' Day, when he would go out of his way to phone all of the musician dads he knew to wish them a great day. I saw a donation button on Dave Bowes' site at http://lowdowndirty.biz/ And Frank Rumbletone's going to dedicate his show (Rumbletone Radio) today to Greg's musical career. | Sati User Info... | I was going to post that Dave would be handing over the donations so far to his family today, but my internet was down last night. He said something about setting up a dedicated link but in the meantime anything more that comes his way will be sent on to them.
