Shaggy User Info... | Seems they'd prefer artists to distribute their media online with their new business model than be ripped off by recording companies. Hopefully it will be VERY succesful. http://www.wired.com/news/digiwood/0,1412,62050,00.html?tw=wn_tophead_6 - Tue, 27 Jan 2004 9:05am

Shaggy User Info... | This'll open a lot of doors for indi producers as well. Won't be stuck with a producer the record label assigns to you. Win win situation it seems for indi artists of all types. - Tue, 27 Jan 2004 1:01pm
ticklefish User Info... | Totally good idea. Until there is something that can make music affordable, and interesting, people either get fleeced by teh recording industry and pay way too much, or they resort to P2P file sharing and rip the artist off, meaning artists either get fucked by their labels or their fans. But these new concepts should help get the artists back in control of their own material, and I am all for getting more indie producers going being one myself. - Tue, 27 Jan 2004 1:18pm
