ricky jak User Info... | wow.... Exodus and Kreator in Victoria! in 1985-86 punk was dead for me.... I was hungry for a new power and the crossover was happenin. I remeber these metal massacre shows in Victoria in those days. I took the most serious beating of my life at one show outside the OAP. How was i to know the guy was a kick boxer! needlees to say i proved to myself that i wasn't a tough guy.... what was a freakey skate-punk like me doin in a place like that anyway...... it was THE MUSIC..... now Exodus and Kreator where records that where a must for young men who thought they where tough back then! I had em..... wow and now some over twenty years later they are comin to Victoria! see you all in april! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjTrr7wiVeI BANG YOUR HEAD AGAINST THE STAGE!!! evilkleg User Info... | The re-recording of Bonded by Blood is frickin' awesome. I've always been an Exodus fan but the original BBB was such crappy production I had a hard time listening to it. The new one crushes on my car stereo. It's called Let There Be Blood. - Sun, 7 Dec 2008 1:55pm

beazlbub User Info... | 1985 Exodus rules!! still have "Bonded by Blood" on vinyl and tape and still i consider that album to be their best Baloff's vocals suited their brutal style ,when Steve “Zetro” Souza took over i just couldn't get over the weird change in vocals ...so many kickass bands from the 80's 1988 Vio-lence "eternal nightmare" comes to mind even tho many were turned off by Sean killian's vocals for some strange reason i liked them lol - Wed, 17 Dec 2008 7:40pm
Mike S. User Info... | beazly, you explain it perfectly. I was the exact same way.. granted Souza grew on me with time, but there is only one Exodus album that stands mountains higher than the rest and thats it. It was more aggresive, faster, the solos were more ripping, everything about it bleeds 80's speed metal. I never really got into the band after that album, although I know most of the songs and they are decent, I just kinda moved on to other metal delights. Kreator on the other hand.. - Fri, 19 Dec 2008 10:14am
Jason Flower User Info... | Kirk Hammet quote: "Can you see that scar? Anyway, I cut my hand, Gary Holt cut his hand, Tom Hunting cut his hand and Paul Baloff cut his hand and we all rubbed the blood together and we were all bonded by blood…and shortly after that came the song 'Bonded By Blood,' ". I don't know if anyone has heard the "Whipping Queen" demo which predates their debut LP, but it rules. Baloff in his unmatched prime. 'BBB' has so many hits. http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=hmXILTFuIwU&feature=related http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=MfHMcctrKWA&feature=related Vio-lence, awesome band Bease! ahh, '80s metal...younger folks may not realise just how cutting edge that shit was back then. i sound like an old man. what the hell. hehe. - Mon, 2 Feb 2009 10:33am Edited: Mon, 2 Feb 2009 10:38am
