Can american presidents get re-elected? Can't they only serve one term? - Sun, 14 Dec 2003 1:23pm

American presedents are allowed to stay in office for a maximum of two terms(i.e Billy Clinton). However G.W. is the kind of guy that has enough friends in the Supreme Court and Senate that he could try to change that particular piece of 200 year old legislation without having to cancel his 2:00 nap - Sun, 14 Dec 2003 1:25pm

And also to note they only serve 4 year terms as opposed to our 5 year terms. - Sun, 14 Dec 2003 1:31pm

200 year old legislation??? More like 50 or 60 years. Remember F.D.R. ? He had 4 consecutive terms, in '32, '36, '40, and '44. It was after him where the 2 term rule was brought in. - Sun, 14 Dec 2003 3:38pm

That was an awful lot of troops to catch one guy, that will probably continue to die for many more years. BLOOD IS THICKER THAN OIL Too bad de facto Bush is probably going to regain popularity. Just wait until Shwartzenegger is president with his vice president Jerry Springer, the ensuing zaniness will make Duh-bya look sillier than he allready does. - Sun, 14 Dec 2003 5:04pm

When they caught him he looked just like any other homeless person. Except for that $750,000 he had. They should of just shot him at the bottom of the hole and pushed the dirt in! - Mon, 15 Dec 2003 2:13pm

If you were Saddam, rich and powerful, why would you stay in your foreign occupied country when you could go to any nearby Arab country. Fucking USA staged this, no doubt. - Mon, 15 Dec 2003 4:29pm

its kind of annoying that people are so anti-capturing saddam. Do any of you know anyone who has lived in iraq? my parents have a friend and is really happy that saddam is captured. He has family there and he had to leave for fear of death. And now he can finally go back and visit his family. It seems there are a lot of refugees in the same boat. He was a tyrant. Im not pro-bush. But i'd rather bush then saddam. - Mon, 15 Dec 2003 5:27pm

My mom has a really good friend who has also become a very good friend of mine who is from iraq, and has been living here for years now. Now thanks to this "monster", Bush, who has pointlessly killed so many americans, he now is moving back to iraq, which would not have happened had Bush not taken Hussien out. Damn, why the hell would we wanna take out a guy that kills his own people?? And man did the states ever profit from that oil.. Wheres the money again.. in Bush's pocket?? Oh right, in a UN fund. What a monster Bush is.... - Tue, 16 Dec 2003 3:24am

Well thank god the world is finally safe. A bearded, desheveled man living in a hole was finally captured. Meanwhile, Osama Bin Laden is probably somewhere planning another attack on somewhere else. But fuck, he's not a danger.

I'm not anti-capturing Saddam, I'm just pissed off that the US can do this and look like heroes. Actually what really irks me is that after the news of his "capture" was released, people were waving American flags and hooting and hollering. This has nothing to do with Patriotism. It just feeds the American ego. Not to mention that it makes Bush look like God in the eyes of the general uninformed American public. - Tue, 16 Dec 2003 8:39am

last i heard they were still looking for osama.... fuck im sick of everyone ragging on Bush. He may not be a hero but fuck at least he grew some fucking balls and actually did something when he saw a probleme. And whats this about "as long as the gas is cheap", last i heard the americans have no say over any of the money generated from the oil in iraq... Is it just me or does anytime any presedent has the balls to actually do something, he get rideculed for it.. - Tue, 16 Dec 2003 9:38am

funny you mention that Bush finally did "something" about Saddam. That's great and all, but what about the other countries that have dictators and/or have worse problems than Iraq? If you can't see through the b.s. that the American government is feeding everyone, you've already lost.
