Thursday Sept 12th Old Time Relijun (K Records-from Olympia WA) Frog Eyes The Gland Factor $7 at the door doors 9pm Old Time Relijun are a very unique rock band. Imagine Jon Spencer Blues Explosion's wild energy fused with Captain Beefheart's deranged and brilliant musicianship! Fronted by Arrington de Dionyso on various elaborate horns, guitar, and voice. Seriously, you don't want to miss this band. - Thu, 12 Sep 2002 3:36pm

Ty Stranglehold User Info... | Christ, what the fuck do you want???? You can't even get a deck of smokes or a couple of beers for $7! This is why the live music scene in this town needs help. Bands playing for you deserve some $$$ for what they do. Is that all that hard to comprehend? - Fri, 13 Sep 2002 2:18am
malcolmSOS User Info... | Well, the reality of bringing bands into Canada from the US is that it is very expensive for them to get up here. So promoters like myself have to pay bands real $ if we expect to be able to convince bands to tour to Victoria. So the people who attend these shows have to pay a bit more. $7 isn't much for three bands when one of them is from out of town. Are you saying you would have gone to the show if it was $6 or even $5? You stayed home to save one or two dollars? We all work hard for our money, but if people want to see quality live bands then they have to be willing to pay for it. - Sat, 14 Sep 2002 12:17am

Jay Watts User Info... | And once again, it's still a lot cheaper to watch creative, interesting people perform original songs than it is to go watch an Adam Sandler movie. - Sat, 14 Sep 2002 4:34pm
Anonymous | And that exactly why I don't waste my money on cigarettes or alcohol or adam sandler movies. Yes I probably would have gone to see the show for $5. No need to get all huffy, boys, it just seemed a little much, is all. - Sat, 14 Sep 2002 5:33pm
