| salt User Info... | I might just have a screwed up computer, but whenever I come to the livevictoria site, every site I visit thereafter will not display the images. This didn't used to happen. Anyone else have this problem? - Tue, 11 Nov 2003 2:32pm | ||
| Mr. Hell User Info... | No!! It's either your computer, or your settings, or you have images and are blind and can't see them. If you don't like it build your own message board, this is free to use, go somewhere else, stop complaining, we are lucky to have this message board, this message board is better now that people have to log in to post and all the pests are gone...(etc, etc...) (The above rant was done in a sarcastic, mocking fashion for those who don't understand that kind of thing. It was done to make fun of the bleeding heart wussies who can't stand to see criticism of this board or anything else in the world. | Shaggy User Info... | Not a single problem here, and I visit LiveVic many times on a daily basis as well as a lot of other sites. There are numerous reasons website graphics don't load properly, but generally it can be as simple as a router "burp". | moron User Info... | It might be a frame issue of some sort. Try copying the URL and pasting it a fresh into the location / address bar and then see if a load that way solves the problem. | METALNECK User Info... | Weird thing is at home there is 4 computers with shaw cable on them and they run pretty much everything fast, except this site. Well its not slow but I figure it should be loading faster for its size. At work we have a 56 k dial up connection and by god it puts the live vic loading times on my home pc's to shame. You select "remember me" and it... remembers you. yeah. | The Professor User Info... | Here's the deal. For some reason there is a bug in Internet Explorer that causes it to stop displaying images when it displays a certain kind of image file it doesn't like. You will notice that once it stops dispaly images, you can go anywhere on the net and the images aren't working. It's retarded. Occassionally somebody adds a poster that IE doesn't like and it ruins things for everybody. I've been trying to keep an eye on the posters to make sure that doesn't happen.
