SoundGarden Nightclub User Info... | I am starting a new thread for this very reason: TallerThanYou said: First off, its kinda lame of you guys to be having some dumb argument about forensics and whether or not eachother huffs glue on a post made about a guy getting murdered. Secondly, its shitty that happened to him. I worked with him at SG and he was a cool guy, it sucks to see someone go like that. Thirdly no, he wasnt the super tall guy, that was me (Shane), and i'm very much alive and well. Lex was the bald doorman working there for the first month or two. With all that said, its a shame to see that happen. Rest in in peace man. - Fri, 31 Oct 5:12pm - Sat, 1 Nov 2003 12:17pm
SoundGarden Nightclub User Info... | Pierce said: Tragic end to a probably slightly desired life, however, that doesnt give CH TV, or Bruce Mcallister the right to immediately snoop into his pass, and relinguish his complete criminal history. The man was obviously not wanted by police on anything, so that means he must have did his "time" or punishment for the crimes he has allegedly commited. We do live in a society that praises forgiveness.I do realise, however that this is information which could be pertinant to the investigation and to help lead to arrest but it doesnt mean fucking squat to people who have nothing to do with the criminal investigative process. CH TV, and Bruce, fuck you! Let the dude rest in peace, and his family grieve with a bit of dignity! - Thu, 30 Oct 4:26pm - Sat, 1 Nov 2003 12:18pm
SoundGarden Nightclub User Info... | I say: I agree. Lex was a great guy - a pleasure to work with, and we were very sad to hear the news. The newspaper and TV should take a good hard look at their own selves/families and think about how they would feel if even before a name was released, criminal records and past misgivings were being exploited. Ya so he made some mistakes, bad decisions - call it what you like. Still doesn't mean he deserved to get killed or raked over the coals by the media. So for all who knew Lex, we know the truth and we will miss him and remember him well. R.I.P. - Sat, 1 Nov 2003 12:19pm
Pooetry User Info... | Yeah, the way he's being portrait in the media is that he was troubled and better off dead. They can't really see past his criminal record. - Sat, 1 Nov 2003 12:26pm
jay brown User Info... | Ya I worked with him at SG and I always got along with him. So what if he did some stupid things in his past. I've done a million of them, and so have most of you, thats part of life. Personally I thought he was a nice guy, it's a shitty deal, r.i.p. Lex. - Sat, 1 Nov 2003 5:35pm
Wreaker of Havoc User Info... | well Soundgarden Nightclub let me fill you in a bit about that piece of shit. He was my ex wife's bf. He threatened me and my kids, beat her, and beat the shit out of many others including women. You dont get beaten and shot for being a nice guy. Everyday nice people dont have this happen to them. Give your head a shake. The world is a better place with one less cretin. - Sat, 1 Nov 2003 7:19pm
SoundGarden Nightclub User Info... | I think that there is always more than one side to a story Wreaker. In this case the kid is dead. He paid the ultimate price for whatever mistakes he may have made. He was always good to me and to my family - so that's all I know first hand. It still disgusts me that the media would jump all over him, all over anyone like that. His criminal record is not news in this case. - Sun, 2 Nov 2003 8:05pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | But it's called sensationalism, they have to make the story sound good, so they drudge up his past. I might of met him in the past, I don't remember any of the bouncers at Soundgarden hassling me, no matter how drunk I was. - Sun, 2 Nov 2003 11:55pm
Wreaker of Havoc User Info... | Well i guess you may have just learned that you should be a bit more selective about who you bring around your family then in the future eh? Takes more than a couple weeks of employing someone to know them. You should be spending more time counting your blessings that you and your family arent involved in this somehow than defending this scumbag - Mon, 3 Nov 2003 6:11am
Neil User Info... | Wreaker Said: 'You dont get beaten and shot for being a nice guy. Everyday nice people dont have this happen to them.' Can I borrow that? - Mon, 3 Nov 2003 9:16am
SoundGarden Nightclub User Info... | Here is the story in today's paper: http://www.canada.com/victoria/story.asp?id=064D84E3-E4EE-491E-8E13-07A102E4D40D There are obviously people who agree with my view of Lex, though I can understand how one who had a bad experience with him would disagree. - Mon, 3 Nov 2003 2:10pm
Pierce User Info... | I would say lot of people have had different circumstances with the individual. Although I feel bitter towards the media for their involvement, i believe we should look at the "bright" side (if there is such thing) and try and educate the younger crowd with this example, on how a life of "crime" (alleged) can lead. Now since seeing the picture, i know exactly who he is, and I too can say he was well behaved in front of my eyes, unfortunately, with others (wreakor) that isnt the case. For you wreakor, i hope you can understand that there are less "fortunate" people out there and one of the side effects of being like him,is, stupid and criminal behaviour which has easily been shown. He was a troubled (ciminal activity however small is troubled) man, who needed help in getting away from the negative side of his life. Too bad, some asshole gave him all the help he needed. Very very unfortunate situation. Hopefully the police can find who is responsible, if not for justice, at least to answer the questions those have, who cared for him. Very SHITTY - Mon, 3 Nov 2003 3:38pm
Geulph User Info... | My question is: If Lex was so nice and kind too SOOOOO many people, why is that the only person they interview or contact about the case is a 4 month girlfriend, and a few friends in other parts of BC. he was 29 years old. where are the mourners. parents. siblings. friends. All you have is a nightclub which saw him 5 hours a week and a girl who has self esteem issues and finds herself involved with a very well known criminal. weird. - Mon, 3 Nov 2003 3:51pm
Wreaker of Havoc User Info... | LOL the girl in the article is my ex wife. If they were such upstanding citizens just looking to start a family then why hasnt she picked up the phone and called her kids that she abandoned. hmmmm being disadvantaged in life is no excuse for not attempting to make something of yourself. The struggle makes success all that much sweeter. Giving up is weakness. - Mon, 3 Nov 2003 7:41pm
Korn Koiler User Info... | I smell motive.. He Wreaker, you did it didnt you! Cops paid a visit yet? - Mon, 3 Nov 2003 10:06pm

Mr. Hell User Info... | No kidding, eh? Bandwagon or what. We've all been hip to Christina's trailer leanings for years. Is this the same guy she lived with at Fifth and Hillside in the condo? - Wed, 5 Nov 2003 2:51pm
Gman User Info... | If there's one thing this has shown, it's how classy folks are 'round these parts. CLASSY. Gman - Wed, 5 Nov 2003 3:22pm
Fred the Dragon User Info... | yah, because we're all about class... - Wed, 5 Nov 2003 4:14pm
jackass User Info... | I've been known to put the ass in class myself - Thu, 6 Nov 2003 6:19am
Wreaker of Havoc User Info... | Mr Hell no not the same dude. THAT guy can be found lounging around the luxerious Douglas Hotel partaking in various 'track' events.....THIS guy just learned that when you punch people out for a living theres a tendancy to leave a trail of uh disgruntled people in your wake.... - Thu, 6 Nov 2003 8:17am
