| cinder | i just got my septum pierced today and i was quite disenchanted to see the it was done on a slant so it appeared crooked. the guy who did it fer me said that i could manipulate the piercing my shoving something up my left nostril. does anyone have any advice? is it likely i can rescue the piercing without throwing off the symetry of the rest of my face? - Fri, 22 Nov 2002 8:55pm | ||

| gutless | Darling, you can't do much about it, except wait and see if it'll look any different when it has healed. But basically, if it was pierced crooked, it will heal crooked. Go back and complain, and they will probably tell you that if you are still unhappy with it when it has healed, they will re do it free of charge or give yo ua refund, which is pretty much common sense and good customer service. Urge is a pretty reputable shop, and I am wondering if the piercer noticed first, and offered any alternative/s (besides the method of shoving something in there, which is something you must do religiously and it a pain in the ass) If you have any more questions I highly suggest you visit http://www.bmezine.com - Fri, 22 Nov 2002 11:08pm | ||

| virge User Info... | oooh, when things go wrong... not having a single body piercing i think this kinda funny. but i think i can sypathise a bit too. i would suggest that you take out whatever's currenty in there, let the fucker totally heal, and try again later. unless you really think shoving something up your nostril will help (do you know how long you have to leave it in for?), and it might, but i think you'd end up with a bigger hole and a sore fucking nose. - Sat, 23 Nov 2002 1:00am | ||

| JAy | Mine is straight. I got it done in Dublin and the guy spent forever telling me it was going to hurt like hell. I guess when he got his done the piercer nicked the cartilage or something cause mine didn't hurt that bad.
