| Scott Laming User Info... | Hey I heard the news today on the CFOX and it was confirmed in an email from the Fulbore crew. The cobalt has closed its doors (not sure why, if anyone can figure that out let me know) and all their shows have been canceled or moved. This Friday the 22nd with the Real Mckenzies has been moved to TO THE ASTORIA PUB 769 EAST HASTINGS. And the Death Sentance show has been moved to UNIT 20 300 WEST PENDER AT HAMILTON. | Ty Stranglehold User Info... | They are only closed for one week. They have been shut down for a week as a penalty for serving an undercover liquor board officer afer 2am. Apparently the liquor board isn't on good terms with the owners of the Balt(due to problem with some other bars in Van that they own). In fact, some of the other bars are shut down for as much as a month. It turns out the the Vancouver Police are huge fans of the Cobalt(bar) since they haven't been called there once since it became a punk/metal bar. It ain't over yet!!!! - Fri, 22 Nov 2002 8:36pm | ||
