| micoll User Info... | must like neil young and be chill, preferrably. mmkay, so i got home tonight and my roommate had trashed the apartment. couch cushions were in the bathroom, my jacket was strewn on the floor, end tables were knocked over, AND my guitar had obviously been thrown across the room. not too mention, someone had rifled through my stuff. ...fucking prick. anyways, someone please live with me- the place is on rockland ave between vancouver and cook (10 min walk to downtown, 14 bus route to uvic), is all hardwood, south facing, and relatively cheap at $395 a month (including heat and hot water). we also have cable internet at a steal of a deal. michael ps- i'm a decently tidy, laid back guy.... please respond! - Sat, 4 Oct 2003 1:21am | ||

| jackass User Info... | roommate horror stories...oh yeah I used to live in this dump of a townhouse on MacKenzie, near Shelbourne, when I was going to UVIC. There were 5 of us in the house. One of my roommates owned a pellet gun and literally, a shopping cart full of fireworks. I used to have to yell when I came in the front door that I was home so I didn't get shot with the pellet gun. Have you ever had to poly-filla about 100,000 little pellet holes in the walls? Psycho roommate with the fireworks also used to wrap a screecher with electrical tape, smash it to pieces, fill a plastic grocery bag with shaving cream and toss it into the shower when you least expected it. Loud. Shaving cream everywhere. Very loud. In this same place, we had a car port that was converted into a living room, and there was a storage space about 3 feet wide between the new room and the garage door. This storage space had nothing in it but an old carpet. Two of my roomies thought it would be hilarious to light roman candles in this little space. One of the roomies banked a roman candle off the wall and it hit him right in the forehead at the hair line. He dropped the roman candle while it was still going off to put the fire on his head out. The roman candle kept going off for a while. We all had a good laugh at the dumbass and went back to doing homework and shit. Another roommate went down to the storage space about 10mins later and when he opened the door, there were flames as high as the roof in that little room...I guess the old carpet in there started smoldering and caught fire. Holy shit. So, the two of them douse the carpet and drag it to a dumpster at the gas station on the corner. As they were walking back to the house, they look back and see flames in the dumpster now. One of the roomies runs back to the house to grab a bucket of water, and as he's walking back to the dumpster, a fire truck comes screaming around the corner, so he drops the bucket and runs. Hehehe...good times. We had a couple ragers at that place too, and my vietnamese roomie, who also speaks french, got buck naked and was running around on the sidewalk, trying to talk the cops into not busting our place, in french. | The Grim Reefer User Info... | ehh...Once i moved into a room in the co-op/townhouse on tillicum and burnside. This french hippy dude and some 50 year old lady lived there. Once i came home and walked to my room and the old ladys dorr was wide open and she was shaving her legs on a towel on her floor...Tramatizing. Also, the one time i left my door open for 5 minutes i came back to find the old ladys rotwiler chewing on my egyptian hieroglyphics(sp?). Ended up getting ripped on for my damage deposit from Frenchy too. Lived with a crack head once...self explanitory. When i was 18 i lived in the worst area of N.Edmonton, in a bachelor suite with 3 other guys. Once we had a little party with these people my rommies met, who ended up being gang members, crack heads, pimps and 15-17 year old junkie prostitutes. These people pimped and slanged shit out of our place and wouldnt leave, my roomates started smoking crack and i went insaine. I refuse to have roomates. - Mon, 6 Oct 2003 2:04pm | ||
