Brand X Media User Info... | Yeah, It's a shame. I'm glad I got to see him when he was in town with The Country Teasers. Great show. I've never seen so many unsuspecting people walk out of a bar. Some people just don't understand good songwriting, and the merits of repetition. Also, I suspect he was the pioneer that brought synthesizers back into style. well, back to watching the fire (Im trapped in Kelowna for the time being) http://www.brandxmedia.org - Mon, 25 Aug 2003 12:04am
colin User Info... | I never saw him but I always felt he was being exploited. Would anyone agree ? - Mon, 25 Aug 2003 1:40pm
Pooetry User Info... | I don't know much about the guy, but I'm curious why people think he was exploited. - Mon, 25 Aug 2003 2:15pm
Justin User Info... | R.I.P. holmes... wish i'd saw him when he came here... but such as it is, he will remain unseen by my eyes - Mon, 25 Aug 2003 2:55pm
Ty Stranglehold User Info... | I love the man's music, but I had to walk out part way through the last show he played here. He was sooooo unstable and visibly unhealthy and the crowd heckling him like some kind of sideshow freak was a bit too much to bear. It's hard to imagine how his career/touring could be handled any differently though. - Tue, 26 Aug 2003 12:21am

KnifeGhost User Info... | Colin: I have no doubt that Jello and everyone else in his management and shit had the best of intentions, but there is a STRONG element of "dance, monkey, dance" in why some people dug him..... - Thu, 28 Aug 2003 4:02am
