| grimlord User Info... | Off that is. Do to economic times I am getting laid off. I just moved in to an apartment that is already hard to pay rent on ,and now comes the news that the plant i work in is laying off 80 people in April.It's hard for me now to pay jam spot rent ,gear and house rent.This is going to suck.We are all in for some changes in our lifestyles and are going to be hit hard,just be glad you live in Canada and there isn't people cutting your head off for rice or water. - Wed, 25 Mar 2009 9:30pm | ||

I think it was slower just to get here" on the contrary, we wont be seeing the "recession" as much as other cities because we dont rely on HUGE corp. to employ our population on the island. THough where we WILL see it most is in the richer more affluent peoples will have lost ALOT of money in the stock market(though sticking it out and holding it is about all anyone can do at this point)... But that's not to say that we WONT see any effects... just not as bad as say, Detroit or any sort of huge industrial-type city.
