JDL User Info... | any reccomendations on a complete refretting by anyone imparticular? My strat needs, BADLY, to be refretted... I dont want to do the half ass job and have the current frets overlayed with a filler material... i want them hauled out and replaced. A luthier-type would be my first choice; I would, in fact, rather someone with experience as a luthier and not just someone who's done it as a hobbie/side work. I know of a couple people but would like to put out some feelers and see who else is capable. - Fri, 20 Mar 2009 2:33pm

Darryl User Info... | I was a little freaked out to say the least in having my PRS re-fretted.....just seems like pulling them outta the fretboard would be a nightmare. Well...it was done in a week, can barely tell the job was done and it plays great. Was very reasonable as well. Go see Dave Pellow. - Fri, 20 Mar 2009 4:48pm

JDL User Info... | thanks guys... I have heard very good things of Dave Pellow. If its not too personal of a question, how much did the re-fret on the PRS run you; roughly? Just so I can get a slight idea of what Im looking at for the repair... - Sat, 21 Mar 2009 2:02pm

laprider User Info... | to further endorse Dave, He has done dozens of fret jobs for me, great work, great turnaround, and probably the best price in town for fret work for what you get, a proper fret Job! - Sat, 21 Mar 2009 10:16pm
JDL User Info... | so... how do I get ahold of dave? I think after all the recomendations/praise I will go with him. that's alot cheaper than I thought it would've cost me for a re-fretting too! I was thinking in the market of 400$ at least, and would've been willing to spend that! Thanks for the tips and if someone can give me some sort of contact info for Mr.Pellow that would be appreaciated! - Mon, 23 Mar 2009 9:49am
