Pooetry User Info... | The VARCS show, how'd it go, yo yo, anyone know? Like my poetry? No, but seriously, how'd the Karaoke Gong Show dealy went on I think July 14? Was it a good turn out, good/bad/mixed singers? How many people showed? Whoever went: Yall are lucky I was outta town. Ears woulda been bleeding and eyeballs woulda popped. :D - Thu, 7 Aug 2003 7:50am
some girl... User Info... | Thanks for inquiring! I think it did pretty well. I was working the door and I'd say that financially it was successful-- at least as successful as a VARC's show could ever be. I left for bed at 11:00 and of course that's when the rowdiness began... drunk and demanding judges, drunk contestants... use your imagination and it probably happened. - Thu, 7 Aug 2003 12:58pm
Pooetry User Info... | That's cool. Do you volunteer at VARCS, too? - Thu, 7 Aug 2003 2:15pm
some girl... User Info... | I don't volunteer at VARC's. I was actually working the door as a favor for the gal who was putting the show on. I should volunteer though... at least for some organization. I once helped wrap Christmas presents but that was all the volunteering I've done. I want to talk to old people in Old Folks Homes. Yah, that sounds really cheesy, but I want to hear all their war stories before all the Vets are dead. How about you? Ever volunteer for anything? - Thu, 7 Aug 2003 2:19pm
Pooetry User Info... | Yeah, I volunteer at VARCS right now. Cleaning houses, driving people around, etc. I volunteered at an extended care hospital for a while to get into a program at Camosun. Used to walk dogs at the SPCA I applied today for volunteering at the Alliance Club (hang for street kids). It's good shit. I'm just such a freakin saint, hey. Bahaha! - Thu, 7 Aug 2003 2:28pm
