| The Ref User Info... | There aint' no such thing as a cheap, decent hotel/motel room in downtown Van. For good rooms at a pretty good rate, try the Ramada on Broadway. It's right above the Fairview Pub, used to be home of some pretty good blues. Other then that, your looking at dives. There are several in the gastown area, one above the lamplighter pub (great party place)that's pretty cheap, the balmoral (a real dive)is another, all the cheap one's are gonna be filled with drunks and junkies so watch your shit...could disappear! - Tue, 1 Jul 2003 10:32am | ||

| Inktvis User Info... | There's many cheap/reasonably found places in Vancouver, just not alot of cheap hotels but plenty of Hostels. You can get a nice private room with two beds. After screaming at the top of my lungs at 4am and threatening to kill that ho if she didnt leave, the manager finally came down and asked politely if Id stop yelling.. Then there was the Motel we rented across from Studebakers during The Haunted show. After the show, the whole band and crew ended up in our room, with a bunch of other people, and we proceeded to drink and drug till the sun came up.. of course the room was totalled. The next day, we saw the maid on her way, we slipped out, as we got into the vehicle she entered our room... As we went around the courtyard and out on to Kingsway, she went running out to the office.. the look on her face was priceless.. - Wed, 2 Jul 2003 8:26pm | ||
