I interviewed something like 7 or 8 people for the story, representing all facets of the music community (musicians, clubs, promoters, zine publishers, radio hosts, etc.) and each person mentioned the exact same bands I referenced. | Zippgunn User Info... | I know I'm being nit-picky. NEAR unanimous praise shall we say? Even the mighty Zappa had his (many) detractors, no? I had a great creative writing teacher in high school and one of his favorite pastimes was to dissect reviews of movies, concerts and records; it was a real hoot. One review of a Rush concert talked about the audience going into "paroxisms of ecstacy", a phrase that has stuck in my head for 35 years. Writing about art without going overboard is sometimes difficult.
